For spiritual seekers!!!

Tony left a comment on the No More Books post:

If you have 10 books (or more) to recommend to a seeker, what would you recommend ?

My list :

1). "I am That" by Nisargadatta Maharaj and If interested, all his books.
2). "Awaken to the dream" by Leo Hartong
3). "The ascent of mount Carmel" by Saint John of the Cross and If interested, all his books.
4). "The Courage to Stand Alone" by U.G.Krishnamurti and If interested, all his books.
5). "De l'abandon" by Eric Baret and If interested, all his books.
6). "In the Heart of the Moment: suddenly joy" by Jean Bouchart d'Orval. Only this book of him pleased me ...
7). "Freedom from the known" by Jiddu Krishnamurthi and If interested, all his books.

So here is my list:

  1. Hi Zee,

Nice to see your 10 favorite books along with amazon links. Each one of us has a different background and it's interesting to share thoughts ...

[the following has nothing to do with the post]

I came across this web site :

It sounds too good to be true. "Ask and ye shall receive !".

If there's someone giving enlightenment in 2 hours to anybody ... He would be known to everybody. But it doesn't seem to be the case here !

  2. Hi Tony,

the article is not bad at all. It is actually good read. But to get enlightenment in 2 hours??? I don't know what to say about it. :-)

  3. Hi Zee,

In "Autobiography of a jnani", downloadable as a PDF file at ... they speak very well about "Nisargadatta Gita" downloadable at

If you haven't already read all that have a look. That autobiography goes very far ... it's an email discussion between an advanced seeker and an enlightened man. Quiet interesting.
